GES Week in Review ~ February 3-February 10
Please mark your calendar with the following important dates for February 3-10.

Friday, February 3
*The Trenton K of C 7th Grade Basketball Tournament will be held today. Game time is to be determined.

Saturday, February 4
*The Scholar Bowl Team will participate in the MD Scholar Bowl competition this morning.  Click here to view the schedule.
*The Varsity Bulldogs will play Altamont Lutheran in the first round of the State Tournament at 1:15 this afternoon.

Monday, February 6
*Read, Right, and Run for Monday, February 6, has been canceled due to the State basketball game.
*All volleyball practices for Monday, February 6, have been canceled due to the State basketball game.    
*Scholar Bowl practice for Monday, February 6, has been canceled due to the State basketball game.
*Germantown will play Giant City at 4:45 today in the quarter-final round of the State Tournament. The player bus will depart at 3:00.  The fan bus will leave school at 3:30.  Please refer to the Bulldog Basketball article on the front page of the district website for more details.

Tuesday, February 7
*We will participate in a nationwide earthquake drill this morning.
*Reading Lab/Homework Help will be held after school today from 3:05-4:00.
*The volleyball game against Aviston originally scheduled for today has been canceled.  
*The monthly PTA meeting will be held this evening at 6:30.

Wednesday, February 8
*The Scholar Bowl Team will have a match at Aviston after school today.
*Reading Lab/Homework Help will be held after school today from 3:05-4:00.                          
*The Bulldog volleyball teams will host Aviston tonight.
*A Band Parent Meeting will be held at 6:30 this evening in the band room.
*The monthly meeting of the Board of Education will be held in the cafeteria at 7:00 this evening.

Thursday, February 9
*The second and third grade classes will go on a field trip to McKendree this afternoon.
*Reading Lab/Homework Help will be held after school today from 3:05-4:00.
*The volleyball game against ASA originally scheduled for today has been canceled.  
*The Bulldog Basketball Team will play Rome at 6:00 this evening in the semi-finals of the State Tournament.

Friday, February 10
*There is nothing on the schedule for today.
