PTA Meeting Minutes - February 7, 2012
Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 6:40pm. Board Members present: Jennifer Arentsen, Crystal Gebke, Nancy Weems, Carrie Kehrer, Kathy Oertel, Cheri Johnson. Staff representation: Mrs. Becker
Treasurer’s Report:
- Checking Balance: $1,972.12
- Savings Balance: $15,069.90
- Trivia Night Raffle Tix - $2,468.25 (after expenses)
- Trivia Night overall Total Earned - $12,524.67 (still adding some funds for camps)
Open Business:
- Trivia Night Wrap up and Thank you cards to go out within the next couple of weeks
New Business/Discussion/Questions/Comments from the Floor:
- Field Day – schedule for 5/18 for K through 7th grades; scheduling party jumps for the day
- Book It Pizza Parties – normally scheduled for April; Crystal will head the order forms and connecting with Becker’s on dates for classes
- Teacher Appreciation Week – May 7th through 11th (May 4th SIP day for luncheon-kickoff)
- Holiday World Tickets – May 14th need to coordinate information with Michelle Varel
- Months for Soup/Lunch & Dessert for Jr. High Teachers (put on agenda as a monthly reminder)
