The Sixteenth Annual Bulldog Dash will be held Saturday May 16, 2020, at Schoendienst Park in Germantown.  The Annual Bulldog Dash is Germantown Elementary SD #60’s largest fundraising event each year and is sponsored and promoted by members of the community to benefit the children of Germantown Elementary.  It is endorsed by members of the Germantown Elementary Board of Education who determine the programs and projects to be funded with proceeds from the event.

In the first fifteen years of the event, the Bulldog Dash has provided the school district with over $275,000 which has directly benefited students of Germantown Elementary by funding after-school programs, math and reading resources, and technology purchases.  The funds raised in 2019 enabled the district to purchase SMARTBoards, SMARTBoard projectors, computer lab chairs, soundbars for classrooms, Ipad covers, Ipad charging stations, and educational software such as Brain Pop, Study Island, Mystery Science, and IXL.  The Board of Education plans to use the 2020 event proceeds to continue maintaining and upgrading classroom technology.

Local sponsors generously support the race each year, donating at various levels including Diamond - $1,000, Gold - $500, Silver - $300, Bronze - $175, and Friend - under $175. Poettker Construction is proud to be the 2020 Bulldog Dash Diamond sponsor.
