Welcome Back to School
Welcome back to school! We are very excited about the start of the new school year. We look forward to working with everyone to make it one filled with lots of success.
Every Friday, the office publishes a school district newsletter called the Bulldog Bulletin. This newsletter contains important information for the upcoming week. A section of the Bulldog Bulletin is called Notes from Mrs. Becker. I will share important messages with you in this section of the Bulldog Bulletin. I encourage you to make it a habit to read the Bulldog Bulletin in its entirety every week.
This year, we continue our commitment to educating our students on the topic of bullying. If your child comes home and reports incidents of bullying that occurred at school, please contact me. I am passionate about the fight against bullying.
The first day of school will be Thursday, August 16, with a 1:40 dismissal. The early and late bus runs will begin on this day. For those who use the bus to get to and from school, please be patient these first few weeks of school as it takes some time for everyone to get accustomed to the routes.
Just a reminder that supervision for students not attending the before school programming will begin at 8:00 every morning.
Don’t forget to send PE shoes to school with your student(s) for days when the weather is not appropriate for outside recess.
I encourage all parents with students in first through eighth grades to take advantage of the opportunity to check your child's grades and lunch account balance on-line. Login information was provided with the registration packets. If you need help logging in, please contact Michelle Finan in the office.
Don't forget to sign up for the free Remind 101 service to receive important district messages via text. Simply enter this number, 81010, with this message, @189cd3, and you will be signed up. It only takes a few seconds.

We hope to see all of our K-8 families at Open House on Wednesday, August 15. Introductions and announcements will begin in the gym at 6:00.
As we embark on the new school year, please know that we are here to answer your questions and listen to your concerns. Feel free to visit us, email us, or call us anytime. We only want what is best for the children we serve and by working together we are better equipped to make that happen.
Here's wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and productive school year.
Robin Becker, Superintendent
