GES Week in Review ~ August 30-September 3
Please mark your calendar with the following important dates for August 30-September 3.
Monday, August 30
*We will be having a Box Tops Drive August 30 – September 17. Simply submit the Box Tops to school in an envelope or baggie labeled with your student’s grade level. The class that submits the most Box Tops will earn donuts for breakfast. Proceeds from the Box Tops drive will help pay for assemblies and student incentives.
Tuesday, August 31
*Reading Lab will be held after school today from 3:05-4:00 for all students in first through eighth grade.
Wednesday, September 1
*Today is Picture Day. Be sure to complete the order form and send it along with payment to school with your student.

Thursday, September 2
*Reading Lab will be held after school today from 3:05-4:00 for all students in first through eighth grade.
Friday, September 3
*We will be celebrating Grandparent's Day today from 8:30-10:00. We hope to see many grandparents at school to enjoy a morning filled with activities.
*School will dismiss at 11:40 today. The teachers will be participating in school improvements activities in the afternoon.
Miscellaneous Information
*Save the Date! The PTA will be hosting a Trivia Night on Saturday, January 29. All proceeds from the event will be allocated to update and enhance technology at Germantown Elementary School. Be on the look-out for more information to come.
