10 G-town Scientists Advanced to the
Regional Science Fair, 2 Move on to State!
Germantown was represented well at the Regional Science Fair at SIU-Edwardsville this year as 10 students advanced. The students participated in the Regional Fair held on the Edwardsville Campus on Saturday, March 14th.
They all worked diligently to improve upon their projects in order to do their best to impress the judges with the scientific knowledge that they have gained throughout the experimental process. Their hard work paid off with all the students receiving 1st place & Outstanding Ribbons at the Fair. The Germantown students that participated in this year’s Fair were: Calvin Robke, Nick Hitpas, Colin Santel, Quinton Huelsmann, Nick Wolters, Jared Brauer, Makenna Kuhl, Claire Langenhorst, Derek Hemker, & Hunter Schulte.
A special congratulations go to Derek & Hunter who have been asked to bring their project to Champaign for the State competition on May 8th at the University of Illinois!
