Grandparents Day a Huge Success!
On Friday, September 4th, Germantown Elementary hosted
Grandparent’s Day. Students in Pre-K through grade 8 invited
grandparents from all over- some as far as three hours away- to
join them in their classrooms. Students and grandparents
participated in a variety of activities. There were games, crafts,
bingo, trivia, Power Points, and interviewing going on throughout
the building. The students enjoyed having their grandparents all to
themselves for a little while. There were over 120 grandparents in
attendance. Following the visits to the classroom, grandparents
were invited to some home-made goodies in the cafeteria. Germantown
would like to thank the Public School of Religion, teachers, and
staff for working together and making this special day a huge
success.
